DMCA / Copyright Policy

Last Updated: December 31, 2025

PureLust.net (“PureLust,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects intellectual property rights and expects all users, visitors, and contributors to do the same. This DMCA / Copyright Policy explains how to submit a copyright infringement notice and how we process valid requests under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

1) Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, content published on PureLust—including original stories, site design, branding, and original graphics—is owned by PureLust or used with permission/license.

2) How to Report Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe that any material on PureLust infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice with the following information:

  1. Identify the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
  2. Identify the allegedly infringing material and provide the exact URL(s) where it appears.
  3. Your full name and contact information (email required; mailing address and phone recommended).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf, under penalty of perjury.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name counts as an electronic signature).

Email: dmca@purelust.org

Please include “DMCA Notice” in the email subject line for faster processing.

3) What We Do After Receiving a Valid Notice

After we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we may:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material,
  • Notify the party who posted the material (if applicable),
  • Take reasonable steps to prevent repeat infringement, which may include restricting access to certain features or content.

If a notice is incomplete, we may request additional information before taking action.

4) Counter-Notification (If You Believe Removal Was a Mistake)

If you believe your content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the content that was removed/disabled and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  2. Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your judicial district (or if outside the U.S., a jurisdiction where PureLust may be found), and agreeing to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notifications to: dmca@purelust.org
(Use subject line: “DMCA Counter-Notice”)

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a court action within the time permitted by the DMCA.

5) Repeat Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances, PureLust may restrict or terminate access for users or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers.

6) Good-Faith Requests Only

Submitting false or misleading DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in legal consequences. Please submit requests only when you have a legitimate, good-faith basis.

7) Policy Updates

We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
